Airless line striper machines are used to paint road lines for parking lots, streets and pavement. It can make sure the paint on the pavement is uniform. The paint layer looks like a continuous stripe with a uniform thickness. The paint is sprayed through a hose to an airless spray gun which has a spray nozzle at the end of it. This nozzle can be adjusted to spray different thicknesses of lines as well as different widths of lines.

Airless line striping equipment includes a number of different types of spray guns, including those with pistol grips, trigger-activated triggers and ones that have a trigger lock on top so you can hold down the trigger while you move around the area you’ve painted. The paint is stored in an paint bucket / paint tank that holds up to 33 gallons of paint at once.

Many models are available with various features such as big inflating wheels on their base so they can be moved around easily; manual shutoff locking system when they’re not being used; and built-in filters that help prevent clogging of the nozzle during use.

What’s glass bead for road line painting?

Glass bead line striping is popular used for paint the road lines. Glass beads are small, round, and have a reflective surface that makes them easy to see at night.

Glass bead is also very durable and lasts a long time. It can withstand the elements better than other types of paint because it’s made with glass beads instead of pigment or dye.

Because it’s so durable, glass bead striping is used anywhere on roads, including medians and shoulders. It’s also great because it doesn’t require brushes or rollers to apply—you just shoot it out of an airless line striper machine!

How to use the airless line striper?

What should I know to maintain or repair the line striping machine?

1.Keep the displacement pump packing nut/wet cup lubricated with oil at all times. it helps protect the rod and the packings.

2.Inspect the packing nut daily.

IF SEEPAGE OF PAINT INTO THE PACKING NUT AND/OR MOVEMENT OF THE PISTON UPWARD IS FOUND
(WHILE NOT SPRAYING), THE PACKING NUT SHOULD BE TIGHTENED ENOUGH TO STOP LEAKAGE ONLY,
BUT NOT ANY TIGHTER. OVERTIGHTENING WILL DAMAGE THE PACKINGS AND REDUCE THE PACKING LIFE.

3.Reducing clutch wear,

The airless spray hose should be at least 15M, the larger diameter works as a pulsation damper and saves
unnecessary cycling of the clutch. A short hose can NOT be used.

Adjust the Engine Speed and Pump Pressure. First set the throttle lever to the maximum RPM setting
Trigger the gun onto a test paper to check the spray pattern and atomization. Adjust the Pressure Control
Knob until you get a good pattern. Reduce RPM of engine to support pressure without laboring engines.

4.Lubricate Connecting Rod Pin every 3 months

5.Always stop the pump at the bottom of its stroke when you take a break or at the end of the day. This helps keep material from drying on the rod, damaging the packings.
