Airless line striper machine review
Airless line striper is a new equipment specially designed for the road line marking, zebra line painting, football field marking, parking lot striping, shopping mall or commercial area line painting etc.
There are 2 types of road line paint, which is cold paint and hot paint. The cold paint is sprayed by the airless line striper like DP6325L (for 1 spray gun, 1 line painting), DP6335L (equipped with 2 spray guns, 2 lines), or the LC880 powered by hydraulic pump which is more powerful and last longer lifetime, it’s designed for high way / express way heavy paint.
all these cold paint sprayer machines could be attached with the glass bead dispenser, which would spread the glass bead equally onto the surface of the painted line.
How to use the airless line striper ?
Using an airless line striper machine requires a few steps like below:
1 Fill the paint tank with the desired paint color: Open the paint tank and fill it with the paint. Make sure not to overfill it as this can cause the paint to leak out during the job.
2 Adjust the pressure and fan size: Adjust the pressure on the machine to the correct setting, depending on the type of surface you are painting. You can also adjust the fan size to control the width of the line you are painting. Normally we need spraying pressure more than 150bar 2200psi for the road painting, and the tip size is normally 419 or 421, that means the tip size is 0.019 or 0.021 inch.
(1)Turn prime valve down. (2)Turn pressure control counterclockwise to correct pressure. (3)Set pump switch to OFF.
3 Start the machine: Turn on the machine and wait for it to build up pressure. The machine should start to spray the paint in a steady atomization so as to make sure the line painted is equal and with sharp edge.
Start steps: (1) Open the fuel valve lever. (2) Move the throttle lever away from the gas tank. (3) Close the engine choke lever. (4) Holding the frame with one hand, pull the starter rope rapidly and firmly. Continue to hold the rope as you let it return. Pull and return the rope until the engine starts. (5) Set pump switch to ON. Increase pressure enough to start pump. Allow fluid to circulate for 15-30 seconds.
4 Begin painting: Start painting the lines by holding the machine steady and moving it at a consistent speed. Try to keep the distance between the machine and the surface constant to ensure an even line.
5 Stop the machine: Once you are finished painting, rease the trigger and turn off the gas engine and wait for the pressure to release. Clean the machine thoroughly to prevent paint from drying inside the nozzle.
Note: Always make sure to wear appropriate safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when using an airless line striper machine. Additionally, always read the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific machine before using it.
There may be some differences in the use of different models, we will provide operation manual so that you can use our machines correctly.
