How to Clean an Airless Sprayer

This is popular question for the new user of airless paint sprayer, and it’s very important to clean the airless paint sprayer because the dried paint will damage the machine easily after 1 day or 2 days storage.

then how to clean the airless paint sprayer machine?

Firstly, Remove the paint supply bucket from the sprayer. Place your clean, dry bucket onto the spray rig and fill it with clean water (or paint thinner if cleaning oil-based paint). Turn the airless paint sprayer on and aim the nozzle into another five-gallon bucket.

Secondly, Spray water into the target bucket until the water runs out clear. Remove the spray gun nozzle tip with your adjustable wrench and clean it thoroughly with water and the toothbrush. Reput the tip onto the sprayer.

Thirdly, Wet a cloth with water and wipe the outside of the sprayer and high pressure hoses. Dry the entire unit with the rags. Roll up your hoses and store the unit until the next job.

If you won’t use the airless sprayer for over 1 month, we recommend you to draw some TSL fluid or just some white oil into the fluid pump, it will prevent the rust or ball get stuck, and no freeze during the winter season.
