The main application for a pneumatic airless paint sprayer is the efficient and uniform application of paint or coatings on surfaces. Pneumatic airless paint sprayers use compressed air to atomize the paint and propel it onto the desired surface.
Wide Range of Application Industries
1.Construction and Residential Painting
Pneumatic airless paint sprayers are widely used in construction projects, such as painting walls, ceilings, and exteriors of buildings. They are also popular for residential painting projects, including interior walls, doors, and furniture.
2.Automotive and Vehicle Refinishing
Pneumatic airless sprayers are utilized in the automotive industry for painting cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles. They can achieve smooth and even coats, providing a professional finish.
3.Industrial Coating and Protective Coatings
Pneumatic airless paint sprayers are employed in industrial settings for coating applications. They are often used for applying protective coatings, such as corrosion-resistant coatings, on metal surfaces, machinery, pipelines, and tanks.
4.Marine and Shipbuilding
Pneumatic airless sprayers are utilized in the marine industry for painting ships, boats, and other maritime structures. The high-pressure output and atomization capabilities of these sprayers enable effective coverage on large surfaces and complex shapes.
5.Furniture and Woodworking
Pneumatic airless paint sprayers are suitable for painting furniture, cabinets, doors, and other woodworking projects. They offer quick and efficient application, enabling smooth finishes on various wood surfaces.
6.Commercial and Industrial Maintenance
Pneumatic airless sprayers are used for maintenance and repainting projects in commercial and industrial facilities. This includes painting walls, floors, machinery, equipment, and other structural elements.
What’s the difference between 45:1 68:1 and 30:1?
Our best-selling pneumatic airless paint sprayers are XPRO-451, XPRO-681 and K301. So how to choose the pneumatic airless paint sprayer you need? We must understand the performance of these machines and their difference.
The numbers such as 45:1, 68:1, and 30:1, represent ratios used in reference to pneumatic airless paint sprayers, especifically their pump ratios. These ratios indicate the pressure generated by the sprayer’s pump, typically expressed as the ratio between the air pressure and the fluid pressure.Let’s break down the differences between these ratios:
XPRO-451—45:1 Ratio:
This ratio means that for every 45 units of compressed air applied to the sprayer, the pump will generate 1 unit of fluid pressure. In other words, the sprayer will provide higher fluid pressure relative to the amount of air pressure applied. A 45:1 ratio is typically used for applications requiring higher fluid pressure, allowing the sprayer to handle thicker or more viscous coatings.
XPRO-681—68:1 Ratio:
With a 68:1 ratio, the pump generates even higher fluid pressure relative to the air pressure. It means that for every 68 units of compressed air supplied, the sprayer will generate 1 unit of fluid pressure. A 68:1 ratio is suitable for applications that demand extremely high fluid pressure, such as heavy-duty industrial coatings or situations where long-distance spraying is required.
K301—30:1 Ratio:
In comparison to the previous ratios, the 30:1 ratio indicates a lower fluid pressure relative to the air pressure. For every 30 units of compressed air applied, the sprayer generates 1 unit of fluid pressure. A 30:1 ratio is commonly used for general-purpose applications, providing adequate fluid pressure for most paint or coating materials.
These ratios are selected based on the viscosity and spraying requirements of the specific coating material being used. Thicker coatings generally require higher fluid pressure to atomize and apply evenly, while thinner coatings may require lower fluid pressure. It’s essential to consult the manufacturer’s guidelines and consider the specific application needs to determine the most suitable pump ratio for a given project.
