When should I replace the piston rod or v-packing inside?

If you see the paint comes out from the cooper sleeve, you can tighten the sleeve a little, and then the pump will work well again.

after 1 or 2 times tightening and worked for some more period, then you have to replace the piston rod & v-packings.

Why the paint sprayer doesn’t suck the paint when I power on the machine?

There’re 2 ball and ball seat in the pump, one big ball (white ceramic ball) and big ball seat (tungsten carbide) are working for suction (inlet valve), the other small ball (black ceramic) and small ball seat (tungsten carbide) are working for pressure valve (outlet valve).

Both ball may get stuck with ball seat after long storage, so you can use a wrench to punch both valves 2 or 3 times till the fluid sucked in.

(if the paint couldn’t be sucked, don’t run the machine for over 1 or 2 minutes, otherwise the v-packing will get worn easily due to the high speed moving of the piston rod which will melt the v-packing with high temperature)

We offer 1 year warranty for this hobby paint sprayer.  But it doesn’t mean the sprayer will useless after 1 year. It could last for several years depends on how well you treat it. The thorough cleaning is necessary for every day when finish the spraying job, and proper lubricating is necessary for every day also.  If the sprayer will be stored for over 10 days, we recommend you to recycle the mineral spirit through out the fluid pump and valves.

yes, the user can change the worn parts himself for example the piston rod, piston gasket, prime valve, pressure regulator, suction valve or outlet valve etc. For the other components like the motor, PCB board, gear, …. we recommend to send back to the dealer to get it repaired

Unlike the air paint sprayer which use compressed air to get the atomization, the airless paint sprayer uses a high-pressure fluid pump to atomize without requiring the compressed air. Yes, this X6 portable airless sprayer is a small pump for DIY hobby user, There are some limitations to this airless system when spraying paint that has not been thinned. But if you want to get larger paint sprayer systems which are fine spraying un-thinned paint, we recommend you to buy the bigger models like X24 X28 X32 …..

yes, of course the airless sprayer performans better than roller, Even on small areas like 100m2, airless sprayer is faster speed and also get better finish. Set up and masking the window / door etc do not take long once you get some experience, and cleaning out a roller at the end in many cases can take longer than a sprayer. Normally airless paint sprayer is around four to five times faster than a roller.
